Thank You For Your Patience

working from home

It has been a wild few weeks. I never imagined when we walked out of our classrooms March 13th that we would still be teaching from home! Your kids have been amazing as we [teachers] put together teaching practices that did not exist a few weeks ago. We have had successes and failures and plenty of things that needed tweaking/adjusting. This is the biggest Growth Mindset Adventure any of us has been on. Thank you for your patience as we build this "airplane" in mid flight. We are a team, and together we will prepare your students for 5th grade and beyond.
Be safe, be kind, be flexible.

Please keep in mind:  Our Timberwolves spend around 6.5 hours with us each day and you should not expect that your student will be given that much work to do at home. At school your child receives about 15-20 minutes of direct instruction in each subject, then about 15-20 minutes of guided practice and discussion, 15 minutes of independent time to complete their work (give or take!).

To "my Broschard" kiddos!!  You have done an AWESOME job of logging in and completing your work!  Don't forget to take a breath, don't get overwhelmed, get some sunshine, and get off your screens throughout the day!
