Battle of the Books
Battle of the Books
Nelda Mundy's Battle of the Books team, the "Terrific Timberwolves" [which included our very own Sebastian Stamat & Jenna Choy], came in 3rd place yesterday!!
WOOHOOO!!
They battled hard in the tie-breaker round--answering many very difficult questions accurately. This team surely knew their content! We are SOO PROUD of them!!
Memorial Day Holiday
Reminder - There is no school on Friday (5/25), or Monday (5/28) due to Memorial Day holiday weekend.

Our grade book will close on Tuesday, May 29th. All work must be completed, corrected, and turned in by end of day. My report cards must be turned into administration by Friday June 1st. Your child's report card will be given out at end of day on June 8th [minimum day].
Book Fair

There will be a summer reading book fair from Wednesday, May 30-Friday, June 1 in the Nelda Mundy Library. Students may purchase books after school on Wednesday and Thursday, or during our class time on Thursday at 9:45. The book fair will not be open during lunch/recesses.
Testing is COMPLETE!!
Room 504 has completed all CAASPP & MAP testing! WOOHOO!
The kids worked very hard showing what they know. Results from CAASPP will be mailed to you in August [if it is the same as last year]. MAP results will be on your end of year report card.

Living Museum SUCCESS
Your kids were absolutely amazing today! They were so enthusiastic and prepared. The teachers & students loved the presentations. It was great seeing so many of you parents first thing this morning to observe the projects. This was our first Living Museum. We are definitely adding it to next year's calendar. My favorite part was that the kids really created the projects themselves. I also loved the teamwork involved when the students who were finished jumped in to help others. A very special project indeed!
