A Few Reminders from Mundy...

READ ACROSS AMERICA DAY - THURSDAY, MARCH 2ND! Read Across America Day is Thursday, March 2nd in honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday! Mundy will be recognizing this day by having a school-wide reading time from 2:00-2:15. The entire school will move into the courtyard and quad area to read for 15 minutes at that time. In addition, if students would like to get into the spirit, they are welcome to come to school dressed as their favorite book character!

FAMILY STEAM NIGHT, THURSDAY MARCH 2ND ~5:00 - 7:00 PM @ MPR Please join us for Family STEAM Night (focus on Math), tomorrownight, March 2nd from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in the MPR. We hope to see you there!

News from Room 504

Next Thursday, March 2nd, is the LAST DAY to take AR quizzes for the 2^nd trimester.  New AR goals will be set soon for the 3^rd trimester.    

Biography Day is Thursday, March 2nd.  Students need to create a Google Slides [and “share” it with me on Google Classroom] highlighting the person’s life.  They should practice speaking in the “first person”—as if they are that person—but the presentation can be in 3^rd person.  Students need to PRACTICE before Thursday.  The Google Slides should act like note cards—they should be glanced at, not read.  We try really hard to get through all 34 in one day, but as you can imagine--it's a long day!!  I told the class that if they wanted to share earlier than Thursday they could.  They still have to dress up on the 2nd, but could share their presentation early.
