Posting again!!

Please check in with your child daily about work completion.  Although I give plenty of time to work in class, not every child will finish every assignment every day.  Some students will need to finish up work at home.  It shouldn't be much, but I need your help in getting your child used to finishing work from school each day.  Every day we write on a paper we use as an agenda.  There is a spot for your child to write down the work from the day and indicate whether isn't done or not.  Please review this with your child each day and help them to budget their time.

Also, if your child is absent, they are responsible for the work missed.

Book Reports!!

 

Your child should have finished their book report book by now.  They should also being taking an AR test on their book -- might as well credit for that as well!!

You child has a set of instructions for the project they chose to complete -- a diorama, a paper bag report, or a book cube.  Book Reports are due on 

Tuesday, November 2nd.

Progress Reports

The Progress Reports window opens 

MONDAY!!!!

What does that mean??

Progress Reports and Report Cards will be available online through Illuminate.  On Oct. 4, you will gain access to both your child's Progress Report and my grade books -- actually your already have access to this & I showed your child this week.  You will be able to check on your child's progress at the mid-way point in the trimester. In order to access your child's Progress Report & Report Card, you will need to set up your Parent Portal using the directions/personalized access code.  If you are not already set up with Illuminate, a letter was sent home from the Mundy office to give you all the information you need.  

Unfinished Work

Book Reports

Great news!!  Every student has selected a book -- Woohooo!!  Their job now is to read the book.  It should be coming back and forth with them each day to school since they often have time to read during class.  Some students have even selected the type of project they would like to complete & received the directions from me.  There's no rush to do it now, but probably in the next week or so.

Book Reports are due Tuesday, Nov. 2.
