Kindness is Contagious!!

The holidays are upon us! No matter what holiday you celebrate, you can't escape all the hype surrounding the month of December!

If you are looking for something that can help you to bring a little calmness and perspective to the season, here's a Kindness Calendar (thanks, Mr. K.).

Book Exchange

Before we leave for break, we will have a book exchange.  If your child wants to participate, s/he needs to bring in a wrapped, unmarked book.  The book should be good for both boys & girls--and appropriate for our reading levels.  Every student that brings in a book will get a different book in exchange through a fun ["White Elephant" type] game!! 

Holiday Fair!!

Tomorrow is our annual Holiday Fair!! Come to the MPR from 10-1 and make sure to stop by the Book Fair.  Hope to see your there!!  

The Book Fair runs through Monday!!  I have created a wish list of books we would like to add to our classroom library if you would like to help encourage reading in our class.  Thanks!

CODS!!!

Coloma money is due!!  We will need to make a second payment before we leave on break.  If you haven't done so already, please send in your second payment [either $70 or the remaining $135] and the permission slip by December 14th.  Thanks!!

Toys for Tots!!

We will be collecting toys for Toys for Tots.  Please bring in a new, unwrapped toy to put in our drop off bins in the office. 4th & 5th graders who bring in a toy will get to play in the Air Force Dodgeball game on Friday, December 15th right after school!! 

Let's encourage our kids to help those who are less fortunate than us this holiday season.
