Library Poster Contest

Poster Contest!!!

Solano County Library Literacy Services is accepting drawings from young readers depicting their favorite stories or drawings of them reading those books.

Drop original pictures off at any Solano County Library branch, along with an entry form, which is also available at the libraries. Children of all ages are eligible. Deadline is Feb. 24.
All entries will be featured on the libraries social media. The winners, by age depending on number of entries, will have their drawings converted into a poster for the 12 Reach Out and Read clinics in Solano County.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

WELCOME BACK AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We hope that you had a FABULOUS break with your Timberwolf and are ready for a BUSY second half of our school year! Be sure to write down ALL of the dates and events that are coming up as it's going to be BUSY and go by quickly!!

COLOMA!!!

FINAL COLOMA PAYMENT: The final payment for camp is due!!! I sent home a note today indicating your (if any) balance. Please have all money in to me by

January 18. We will need to make our final payment to Coloma soon after that.

MEDICAL INFORMATION FORM: Attached to the Coloma money information is a lavendar Medical Information Form for camp. Please fill it out in its entirety (both sides) and return to me ASAP. If your child will require any medication while at camp (both prescription and OTC), the form must be signed by your child’s doctor. Your child will not be allowed to keep the medication with them. We will keep it safe and provide the medication when/as needed. Please don’t send “just in case…” medication—if your child is sick enough to need medicine, s/he will most likely need to go home.

Robotics Club

This is a reissue of a note from Mrs. Choy, as I had students asking.

Robotics Club Session 2 will be from February 8 - May 31 on Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30 in Room 707. If you would like to apply, be on the lookout for a Google Forms link in January. You can apply from January 11-25 and 22 students will be randomly selected on January 26. Winners will be notified by an email from Mrs. Choy.

-If you were in the first session of Robotics, you can't be in the club again.

-If you were one of the 98 families who applied at the beginning of the year, apply again.

-Please only submit one application.

NEW INFO JUST IN:

Students who are in grades 3-5 who are interested in joining Mundy's Robotics Club for the 2nd session can apply at this link. You can apply through January 25 and 22 students will be randomly selected on January 26. Winners will be notified by an email from Mrs. Choy. If you don’t receive an email, then your child didn’t make it into the club.
