If your child is going to Coloma--please disregard this message: Permission slips for the March 8, 2017, Sacramento field trip are due by Friday, February 24th. We are collecting a donation of $20 (check payable to MCA) to offset the cost of the bus and the field trip. I could still use one or two chaperones for the groups. Let me know if you want to go!
We are getting close to our camp dates!! WOOOHOO!!! Students brought home their Student Handbooks for CODS today!!! These handbooks have information about our schedule, menus, and what to pack. These handbooks should be kept in a safe & packed in your child's backback for our trip [for their reference].
Another one of our students was selected by the head Night Zookeepers in England to appear in the International Night Times this week. Very exciting!

There is a Student-led book club starting up for 3rd & 4th graders only. The Book Club will meet on Thursdays from 2:30-3:30 in Room 501 starting on February 23rd. There are only 10 spots available. If you are interested, stop by Room 501 to pick up a permission slip ASAP.
